What will change on October 17th?
Number One, I don’t think the business
of cannabis changes as far as B2B. We
will see fluctuations in stock prices,
but the reality is October 17 is really
about the consumer. It’s the opportu-
nity for Canada to celebrate its want
and need and expressed interest in
consuming cannabis freely without
worry of being criminalized.
Number Two, it will shine the light
on the business side—who is really
prepared to meet the commitments of
the supply agreements they’ve made
with the provinces.
Is Canada prepared for this new day?
I think the provinces are still really
figuring out what is going on. It’s not
going to be perfect and we won’t have
enough cannabis for sale.
We have heard a few CEOs can’t meet
their supply agreement. That is a tell-
tale sign about something I’ve been
