Centennial College has a mandate to build
using LEED-certified strategies and mate-
rials, and the Residence and Culinary Arts
Centre is no exception. The facility will be
designed to LEED Gold standards with a
focus on sustainable green practices as
they apply to the hospitality industry. “Re-
duce, reuse and recycle” will be a priority
given the amount of potential waste gen-
erated by both the culinary centre and the
