members of our local. The terrazzo or
marble or tile that you would see in-
side these buildings was also very of-
ten installed by members of the local.”
Swan says the local has experienced
many ebbs and flows over its long
history and has succeeded beyond
the wildest expectation of its found-
ing members. The continued success
of Local 7, and the collective accom-
plishments of its members, along-
side its signatory contractors, are a
source of great pride. The spotlight
is currently focused on Local 7’s craft-
